Michael Bloomberg spent about a half billion on TV adds and almost an equal amount on salaries for the employees of his ill fated run for POTUS. And now he is facing two class action lawsuits because of alleged breach of contract regarding those employees. By the time he gets done he will have spent around a billion dollars for nothing. Instead, he could have sent each and every person in the country, including our illegal aliens, a check for three dollars.
Bernie Sanders is correct when he says that there are some people in our country that should be taxed up the wazoo and then some because they have so much money that they don’t know what to do with it. This is not Socialism. It is common sense.
Did Bernie Sanders actually say that? Not really but maybe he should have.
Is it okay these days to drink Corona beer in a Chinese restaurant? I don’t really know. We had the Asiatic Flu back in 1957, the Hong Kong Flu in 1968, SARS in 2002 and now Covid 19 in 2019, all of them originating somewhere in China. What the hell are they doing there?
The stock market is going nuts, again. Is it all due to the Corona virus? I doubt it. When it comes to losing weight, the experts say it’s 90% diet and only 10% exercise. With the stock market I think it’s 90% psychological and only 10% actual economics. Too bad the stock market can’t see a psychiatrist. So what will happen after the dust settles? I think some people are going to make a shit load of money.
So the price of oil is down. Big deal. The oil industry has always been the epitome of greed, from the oil barons to OPEC. When gasoline and heating oil costs less, people have more to spend on everything else which helps the rest of the economy.
