Tidbits

My latest event was to visit the Portnoy Gallery. On this particular day the new “inductees” to the Wall of Fame were introduced. This consists of many local Las Vegas artists, all hung on the Wall of Fame.
Neal Portnoy does these renderings by Magic Marker and is a wonder to view. You can see Aretha Franklin to Lady Gaga and many well known Sports Stars, all drawn to excellence. Be sure and visit this wonderful gallery if you are planning a trip to Sin City.

Next up is a visit to Bobby Mao’s Restaurant in Henderson, Nevada. It has a wonderful Chinese-Mexican cuisine and features entertainment nightly from Thursday thru Sunday.
This particular evening I saw Mark O’Toole singing every genre of music. I “sit in” for a couple of songs when I see him perform. He is there every Friday evening, when he is available from 6-9 PM.

Chippendale’s at the Rio Hotel and Casino was very exciting. All the 8 gentlemen with fabulous bodies were strutting their stuff and amusing all the ladies in the audience. Definitely a site to behold. Don’t miss this. Not much more I can write about this, it’s all about Naked Men with fabulous bodies. What else is there to say. I LOVED IT.

Last night I went to the Dispensary Lounge, not that kind of dispensary. It is a popular Jazz hang out with entertainment that starts at 10 pm -2 pm. This particular night featured JoBelle Yonely and had a great trio, consisting of Todd Hunter , who plays for Dionne Warwick at the Cleopatra’s Barge in Caesars Palace, a wonderful bass player and drummer by the name of Ryan Rose. Many guest singers dropped in after their shows. Michele Johnson, Ryan Baker, Jonathan Karrant, Chadwick Johnson, Paul Stubblefield and Joyce Carole are just a few. If you love jazz, this is the place to visit.
